Since then I’ve worked with Eben Kirksey, Nick Shapiro, Kathy High and other friends and colleagues on this experiment in multispecies ethnography, developing novel approaches to writing culture and natural/cultural history. Multispecies Salon, panelists poached each other’s papers, like chefs “poach” pears, using red wine and honey to intensify and transform the flavor of the fruit.
